Atlantic Herring

North Atlantic herring are an abundant pelagic fish which is harvested for several months of the year and includes a spring and fall fishery. Herring harvested by mobile purse seine are iced thoroughly to maintain quality and landed quickly to our pelagic processing facility. Herring are graded based on fat content and size.
